About Us

Catholic Charities Fort Worth (CCFW) launched their Refugee School Impact (RSI) program in 2005

RSI provides school-aged refugee students with tutoring, crisis intervention, and parent-school liaison services to Fort Worth ISD and several surrounding districts in Tarrant County. They also provide students with clinical counseling services conducted by Licensed Professional Counselors to help them navigate the trauma of resettlement and adjust to life in the United States.

CCFW’s Refugee School Impact is funded by the United States Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). It is administered with oversight and guidance from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Migration and Refugee Services – Children’s Services.

Refugee School Impact is powered by Catholic Charities Fort Worth, a North Texas-based nonprofit committed to relentlessly ending poverty through holistic, evidence-based solutions. Founded in 1910, CCFW serves tens of thousands of people in North Texas, and across the nation, each year. For more information, please visit www.CatholicCharitiesFortWorth.org.
